It's called LessonBoom the innovative winter sports platform that allows you to book your ski, snowboard, cross-country or freeride instructor from the comfort of your home according to your characteristics and needs.

An idea born and designed by Giovanni Ghigliotti, ski instructor in Champoluc: "I created this portal after having encountered some problems in my area. Usually the ski schools provide a random teacher. So often the customer can experience a teacher who does not match his needs because, for example, there are teachers who are more or less good with children ".
“The platform connects users with professionals - continues Giovanni Ghigliotti -. Inside the site there are a number of teachers of the various winter sports. They have a dedicated section where they can access and complete their profile, put a personal description and their availability regarding the price, the time slot and the location. They also have an agenda where they accept, confirm or reject reservations in case of problems. So absolute freedom and autonomy. The user enters the ski resort and chooses one of the teachers who is available. A chat opens where you can chat directly with the professional and ask for any kind of information. The lessons are not just private. In fact, the teacher can also choose the number of participants he wants to teach. They are free from any type of constraint. And they also have the opportunity to put a price increase for each additional person who is teaching. "
Today LessonBoom has about 100 teachers divided between central and northern Italy. Each professional offers a price range for lessons that varies between 40 and 50 euros per hour.
"To be enrolled in Lessonboom - continues Giovanni Ghigliotti - every professional must send us the card that certifies the qualification of ski instructor and an identity document. Then we make a check through the AMSI portal and, once the checks have been carried out, we enable it on the platform. The more certified the professional is, the more he can afford to increase the price of the lesson ".
Not only freelancers are registered on the LessonBoom portal, but also the ski schools to which we entrust a free management system on which they can manage bookings from the platform.
"The goal of LessonBoom - concludes Giovanni Ghigliotti - is to try to affiliate the largest number of teachers and schools so that the user can have a wide and complete choice available".
