The nineteenth edition of Prowinter ended with a widespread feeling of satisfaction. The numbers say it, with over 5,600 visitors registered over the three days, the organizers and exhibitors who participated in the three days in South Tyrol say so.

"Prowinter 2019 has fully respected the expectations and, from a certain point of view, it has even exceeded them - says Armin Hilpold, President of Fiera Bolzano Spa - The event is proposed as an exhibition for the B2B channel and it is clear that the climate of the fair was influenced by the trend of the winter season. Instead, thanks to the results of the athletes, the enthusiasm of the companies involved in the Startup Village and the success of the corollary initiatives such as the Ski Rental Summit we can say that Prowinter 2019 closes with a more than positive balance ».
The considerations of the President of Fiera Bolzano Spa are reflected in the statements of Alfredo Tradati, coordinator of the Prowinter Lab project and of the Ski Rental Summit: «The second edition of the Summit dedicated to the analysis of the reality of the rental in Italy has repaid us of the efforts made in place of organization. The degree of participation not only of the speakers but also of those present in the audience has allowed a constructive discussion that we hope will be a good omen for a future increasingly dedicated to the cooperation between the various players operating in the economy of mountain sports ".
Positive trend also for the exhibitors present at Prowinter 2019. Christian Thaler, director of Wintersteiger Italy, said he was satisfied with the nineteenth edition of the trade fair for winter sports: «For us, participation in the fair was positive. Although the winter was not at the height of the record season a year ago, the quality of visitors at the fair was positive this year too. Our new big stand was very appreciated and the customers had the right space to test our machines ».
Also Hansruedi Ammann of Mountain Slope has drawn a positive balance of his second participation at Prowinter: «The stand was perfectly positioned for our needs, we had a great movement and many visitors really interested in our activity. We have had many new contacts and certainly a good post-fair output will follow. "
Prowinter 2019 closes but the appointment is already set for next year, from 7 to 9 April, Bolzano Fair will host Prowinter 2020.

A fronte di un incremento delle presenze, il numero di strutture turistiche non è cresciuto e quello di posti letto si è ridotto. Ai maggiori flussi turistici non si è associato né un aumento del consumo di suolo né una maggiore produzione di rifiuti, dimostrando il potenziale del riconoscimento UNESCO nel generare benefici economici locali senza compromettere la qualità ambientale, a condizione che siano in atto un efficace coordinamento istituzionale e solide garanzie normative.
