Prowinter 2017 dedicates a space to bike

A Prowinter, the only B2B fair in Italy dedicated to mountain sports, to be held from 19 to 21 April in Bolzano, will be devoted a large space on the bike.

Already last year had been set up an exhibition area of 7000 square meters characterized by bike test materials by road, mountain bike and bicycle. It grows more and more, in fact, the demand for the bike rentals so much so that more than 600 visitors, about 10% of the 5,700 visitors to Prowinter, had made at least one bike test. The idea of giving ample space to the two wheels allows for the fact that those who love the mountains does not just six months the 'year, but during all seasons. "There is a clear trend in the rental market sees strong growth for the world of summer sports in parallel to those winter. Prowinter must keep the look at the world of two wheels and the services and tools for the ski areas also for the hot season. This new area is an opportunity for growth for the whole sector of the mountain, "said Thomas Mur, Director of Fiera Bolzano. For this reason this year to Prowinter will open its doors also to hoteliers who offer in their facilities bike rental for guests of becoming "bike hotel", ie real detention centers designed exclusively for cyclists. The bike hotels focus a number of full services designed for athletes who love cycling and the traditional holiday, they want to add a dimension of wellness, with exploring the area by bike routes. Tourism in this case can take place by their own means or with rental bikes, so I requested services such as secure storage, workshop, bike wash and, of course, a car that offers the appropriate means to the morphology of the area with equipment for children and families. A Prowinter Bike will present the major cycling companies, to present its range of dedicated bike-rent products, fundamental sector for hoteliers who want to offer a better service to its guests: from the power or muscle bike, until the security accessories and the cycling family, able to meet the needs of the neophyte tourists as those of the experienced cyclist. For those who want to test electric bicycles, within Prowinter Bike there will be an e-mobility areas open every day of the fair.
