While our alpine resorts suffer from lack of snow and the Austrian neighbors are instead having fun submerged by the powder, the Freeride World Tour 2019 is finally ready to go. From January 19th to 26th the time window opens up to see the best freeriders in the world compete against Hakuba's soft Japanese JAPOW.

The location, among the best known in Japan, is known especially by freeride fans from all over the world because of the abundant snowfall - on average 11m per season - and since last year has entered the FWT circuit, thus carving out more and more reputation world capital of freeride.
Among the athletes competing the wildcard Travis Rice (USA) and Taisuke Kusonoki (JPN), in addition of our very strong compatriots Arianna Tricomi - FWT champion in charge and ready to defend the title with the teeth, and Markus Eder, according to last year and definitely without the need for presentations.
Both are in great shape - freshly appointed as European skiers of the year - and ready to give the world's freeride elite a hard time, which will gather on the island of the Rising Sun in the coming days.
We at Neveitalia will broadcast the event live on Saturday 19 January as always.

Grande attesa per gli azzurri, reduci dai Mondiali in Lettonia che hanno portato quattro medaglie, con Emanuele Becchis iridato nella sprint per la quinta volta in carriera, due anni dopo la perla proprio in Trentino.
