Located about 950m above sea level in the heart of the Carnic Prealps, Sella Chianzutan is the pass that divides Carnia from the Val d''Arzino. Very easy to reach from the town of Tolmezzo and just 60 km from the provincial capital Udine, the Sella Chianzutan ring winds along the plain located downstream of the now abandoned ski lift, completing a very suggestive itinerary of about 5km and pretty easy. The cross-country track of the locality located in the municipality of Verzegnis, is characterized by a largely flat path interspersed with some small climbs easy to climb and followed by simple descents, perfect for those who want to make contact with narrow skis for the first time .
The panorama surrounding the plant is also very spectacular. The majestic peak of Amariana, the mountain overlooking Tolmezzo and which identifies Carnia, can be seen in the distance, while the five peaks that make up Monte di Verzegnis: Rizzat (1441 m), Cormolina (1880 m), Lovinzola (1868 m) ), Colle dei Larici (1779 m) and Monte Verzegnis (1914 m), constitute a sort of natural amphitheater of the track.
In winter, Sella Chianzutan in addition to cross-country skiing offers some suggestive itineraries to follow with snowshoes, some of these are very easy and affordable even for beginners. For families, however, the downhill slope no longer served by the ski lift is an excellent opportunity to have fun with bobsleighs and sleds.

Argentera
Argentera si trova nell’alta Valle Stura, a pochi chilometri dal Colle della Maddalena e dal confine francese, in uno degli ambienti più appartati e selvaggi delle Alpi Marittime. Il comprensorio si sviluppa sopra la frazione di Bersezio, tra circa 1.630 e 2.500 metri di quota, in un paesaggio di lariceti e pendii d’alta montagna dominato dall’Oserot e dalla Rocca dei Tre Vescovi.
