Since last July 9th the Mavic brand is no longer part of the Amer Sport portfolio.

The sale, announced in March, took shape in these days. Ownership of the trademark has therefore passed to Regent LP, a private equity firm based in California.
According to what Regent LP announced, the development and product plans for Mavic are destined to accelerate, with a focus on service, quality and performance. The intention is indeed to develop a premium cycling brand internationally.
"We will continue to refine our product offering - wrote Regent LP in a press release - to develop even greater attention for our consumers, simplify our business and invest in our infrastructure. This change of ownership will enable us to focus and guide our strategy across all our channels and regions, ensuring a bright future for the Mavic brand. "
