POC Skull Orbic Comp, protection without compromise

When it comes to safety on the track, the point of reference is POC Skull Orbic Comp, launched in 2013 and since then has won important support in the world of competitions and on the slopes of every day.

The Skull Orbic Comp represents a new frontier in the protection from poles that are hit at ever-increasing speeds. This model boasts an additional protection in the front part of the padded shell with VPD 2.0, the material used for our top of the range protections. This insert is able to cushion the repeated impacts with the posts and offers greater protection for the head in the event of a fall. In addition, the Skull Orbic Comp has an EPP-Multi Impact core that in combination with the VPD, the Aramid coating and the ABS shell make this helmet unique and safe. Since 2017, this model is equipped with the new SPIN system, designed to reduce the rotational force in the event of oblique impacts by means of integrated bearings in the padding. This is an evolution of similar systems on the market, which is characterized by its simplicity, comfort and increased security both in terms of impact and reduction of rotational strength. If used in slalom competitions, the helmet can be fitted with the Maxilla Breakaway chin guard.
