The World Cup sprints in Val Martello have ended with the first verdicts and six blue podiums, in the new stage of the top ski mountaineering circuit.
Nicolò Canclini scored a good second place among the seniors, behind the Swiss Arno Lietha, who also won the Espoir category. Behind Canclini was the Spanish Oriol Cardona Coll. Among the Espoirs, known as the Lietha dominion, there is another podium for Italy thanks to Giovanni Rossi, who precedes the other Swiss Florian Ulrich.
The women's senior race saw the success of the Swedish Tove Alexandersson, ahead of the Swiss Marianne Fatton and the French Emily Harrop. Blue podium among the Espoirs thanks to Giulia Murada and Giorgia Felicetti, who respectively take second and third place, behind the French Marie Pollet-Villard. Among the juniors, Samantha Bertolina and Lisa Moreschini are also one step away from victory, beaten only by the Swiss Caroline Ulrich.
