Senior and U23 teams at work as Italian ski mountaineering restarts with training camp in San Candido

From Monday, August 31 through Sunday, September 6, the Italian Senior and Under 23 ski mountaineering teams will hold a full week-long training camp in South Tyrol, gathering in San Candido for a training session.

Technical director Fabio Meraldi has called up Melissa Bertolina, Silvia Boscacci, Nicolò Ernesto Canclini, Erik Canovi, Luca Curioni, Hermann Debertolis, Noemi Junod, Carlo Mazzoleni, Lorenzo Milesi, Lisa Moreschini, Giulia Murada (who will join the team on September 2), Matteo Sostizzo, Luca Tomasoni and Michele Boscacci, who announced this week that he is soon to become a father, as his wife Alba De Silvestro, who will naturally miss the 2026/27 season, is expecting.

The coaching staff will consist of coaches Damiano Lenzi, Lorenzo Romano and Alessio Camilli, assisted by physiotherapist Marco Montori. The team will stay at the Cantore Barracks of the 6th Alpini Regiment in San Candido.
