An authentic triumph. Despite a halved season and with the painful, but necessary, cancellation of the World Cup finals scheduled for April 2-5 in Madonna di Campiglio, with the Trentino races that would also have been valid for the European championship, the Ski World Cup mountaineering has seen the Azzurri again great protagonists.
On a male level, Italy signed the seventh consecutive pearl with the personal trio of Robert Antonioli who, after the successes of 2017 and 2019, took another crystal ball concluding in front of another blue, Davide Magnini detached by 173 points, with Michele Boscacci fourth just behind the Swiss Werner Marti.
Among the girls, the cup went to Swiss Marianne Fatton, who preceded two Italians with 560 points, Alba De Silvestro second at 463 and Ilaria Veronese third with 264 lengths.
