If the first day of the ski mountaineering world championships had already given the Azzurri the beauty of seven overall medals, today if possible the Italian squadron has done even better in the mountains of La Massana, in the Principality of Andorra.
Both the women's and men's relay team won the world title in the senior team trials; the girls dominated in front of France and Switzerland, with Ilaria Veronese, Alba De Silvestro and Mara Martini triumphing before an encore with the men arrived, thanks to the great performance of Nicolò Canclini, Michele Boscacci, Robert Antonioli and Nadir Maguet, who beaten the Swiss and French opponents.
Silver medal instead for Italy in the relay dedicated to the Youth category, with the blues Samantha Bertolina, Tommaso Colombini and Luca Tomasoni beaten only by Switzerland, while Spain won the bronze medal.
