The transalpine Xavier Gachet won the men's Individual Race of Morgins, the second race of the World Cup program for ski mountaineering on Swiss snow.
On the podium, however, there are two Azzurri, Matteo Eydallin - in the first top 3 of the season - and Michele Boscacci. The Aosta Valley rider reached the finish line with a delay of 23 seconds from the winner, while the Valtellinese finished at 41 ”. Good fifth place for Nadir Maguet, followed by Alex Oberacher seventh, and William Boffelli tenth. In the women's field, the French Axelle Gachet Mollaret ruled the competition, ahead of her teammate Emily Harrop and the Swiss Alessandra Schmid. Fourth place - for the second consecutive time in the specialty after the Andorra stage - for Alba De Silvestro, less than a minute from the podium.
Sixth Giulia Murada, tenth Mara Martini, eleventh Ilaria Veronese.
Red-cross double in the under 23 category, with Thibe Deseyn ahead of Caroline Ulrich and the French Margot Ravinel. Fourth place for Silvia Berra, fifth for Manuela Pedrana. Among the men, two other Swiss in the leading positions with Thomas Bussard ahead of Robin Bussard and the Frenchman Anselme Damevin.
