It was held this morning the second edition of the Mezzalama Jeunes reserved for Junior and Cadet categories.

Departure from the gondola of Cime Bianche in Breuil-Cervinia, the Juniors have faced a distance of 1000 meters in altitude along three climbs and three sections to deal with on foot, on skis in the backpack, the one for the Juniors and all the cadets have faced a height difference of 880 meters and a shorter path with a climb and a stretch on foot in less.
Among the Juniors triumph twins Cogne Sébastien and Fabien Guichardaz before French Ciferman Esteban and Bastien Flammier and Team Oropa Lorenzo Bozino and Gabriele Gazzetto. In the corresponding female race dominate French Célia Perillat-Pessey and Marie Pollet-Villard front of the two pairs formed by Italian Giorgia Feliciti and Melanie Ploner and Francesca Zucco and Olesia Ronzon.
Among the Cadette orig participating team was one formed by Aurelie Avanturier and Anna Folini, in the corresponding men's race win Matteo Sostizzo and Mattia Tanara before Alexander Morandini and Peter Festini Purlan and Albert Gontier and Alessandro Mantega.
But all this, as a valid test of the circuit Jeunes La Grande Course, is just the prologue of the 21st Mezzalama Trophy which will be held tomorrow starting at 5.30 from Cervinia. The White Marathon is the last stage of the circuit La Grande Course and the favorites seem Damiano Lenzi, Matteo Eydallin and Michele Boscacci, the team members of the Alpine Sports Center of the Army.
But success can have their say even the teams of Nadir Maguet, Robert Antonioli, recent winner of the World Cup, and Manfred Reichegger, by Pietro Lanfranchi, Jakob Hermann and William Boffelli, and Kilian Jornet, Werner Marti and Martin Anthamatten . Among the favorites are women Laetitia Roux, Jennifer Fiechter and Emelie Forsberg, but eye to the Italian-French team with Katia Tomatis, Alba De Silvestro and Axelle Mollaret.
