Saturday, March 11 on the Alpe di Mera snows will host the 19th edition of the race bob Mera's Cup. Two hundred brave participants, grouping twenty-knit teams and divided into the categories of ladies, senior and junior, will compete for the title and the coveted cup in a thrilling descent of two kilometers. The day will begin with the distribution, at the headquarters of Pro Loco di Mera, the chest and the transponder (mandatory withdrawal before 14.00) that will allow the detection time of each competitor. 16.00 appointment at the Grove Bar with music and mulled wine.

17.00 away with the departure of the first 100 competitors in the first heat, while at 17.30 via the second heat of the remaining participants. The intrepid bobbisti will unleash adrenaline throwing himself at breakneck speed in a 2-km long breathtaking descent.
We will continue with the return of the pectoral and transponders and with the ski chairlift Capricorn, will deliver the tires back the bob and then all at the Shack for the prize-giving drink. Between music and dancing will be proclaimed the winner of the 19 ^ Mera's Cup, we will be awarded to the best competitors and many prizes will be randomly extracted.
The day will end with a dinner at the restaurants of the Alpe di Mera and then big party late into the night at the tavern of Refuge Camparient.
Registration is now open and will close mandatorily March 7. On the Pro Loco Mera site (www.alpedimera.it) are available Regulation and the registration forms. There is room for up to 200 participants.
The basic equipment will be provided by the organization: the bob race will be all the same and no changes. Must wear crash helmets.

Argentera
Argentera si trova nell’alta Valle Stura, a pochi chilometri dal Colle della Maddalena e dal confine francese, in uno degli ambienti più appartati e selvaggi delle Alpi Marittime. Il comprensorio si sviluppa sopra la frazione di Bersezio, tra circa 1.630 e 2.500 metri di quota, in un paesaggio di lariceti e pendii d’alta montagna dominato dall’Oserot e dalla Rocca dei Tre Vescovi.
