The mountain speaks and never stops telling stories to anyone who knows how to listen. From 23 to 27 July, the province of Sondrio will host the third edition of the festival of mountain culture "River of the earth."

The first new feature this year is the entrance, in the calendar of appointments, Livigno which completes the rose of such municipalities. The three pine cones silver will be awarded to Corbaccio publisher named best publisher of the year in the mountains, Elio Orlandi for the best book of the year subject to the mountains and to Krzysztof Wielicki for climbing career and publishing. During the festival there will be exhibitions, concerts and a busy schedule of excursions, in addition to the appointments of international characters including Francesco Moser, who will be present for the special tribute to the Stelvio pass, and the mountaineer Kurt Diemberger extraordinary character of the mountaineering world that last year, on the occasion of the festival, celebrated its 80th anniversary in Bormio, while this year will be named honorary president of the festival.

Campitello Matese, sciare in Molise a due ore da Roma
