Having hosted 46 World Cup races and two Alpine World Ski Championships (1985 and 2005), this year will waive Bormio the men's downhill on the Stelvio, one of the most spectacular circuit, where the plurimedagliato Christof Innerhofer won his first race of his career in 2008. Society Equipment has not expressed his willingness to host the event for the season 2014/2015 and 8 January evaluated negatively request notifying FIS, the FIS and BEST - organizer of the event.

A difficult decision, which is certainly no pleasure, but which, unfortunately, is were forced to arrive. As already you know, fans World Cup alpine skiing, the downhill in Bormio is held every year December 29, the period between the Christmas holidays, when the ski area is stormed and is not can keep the Stelvio closed to tourists for four days at a time highlight of the season.

Campitello Matese, sciare in Molise a due ore da Roma
