LombardyNIGHT SKIING

In the Aprica-Corteno Golgi ski area there will be the longest night ski slope in Europe

The track will be covered with snow, from top to bottom, with artificial snow. The inauguration is scheduled for December 5th.

For the next winter season, Corteno Golgi, in the Aprica area, will present the longest illuminated night ski slope in Europe as a novelty. Work has already begun on the Super Panoramica del Baradello where 300 lighting poles will be placed. The track will be over 5.5 km long. During the lockdown, Baradello 2000 Spa entered into a contract with Sea Spa of the Eni group: "The contract with Sea provides that the plant is their property and we as Baradello 2000 Spa pay them an annual fee. After 10 years we will "redeem" the system that will be ours. The Municipality and the Province have always been close to us and they will be so again this time but we hope to be able to "redeem" this lighting system even earlier by raising funds from various organizations and tenders ", Lorenzo Sangiani told the newspaper Il Giorno, President of Baradello 2000 Spa. The night ski slope will open in December and should be open two days a week.
