On 30 November, skiing in Livigno is back, the renowned ski resort of Alta Valtellina where the 2019/2020 winter season has already started on 19 October with the opening of the cross-country ring.

To inaugurate the new alpine skiing season, the Skipass free promotion will be active until December 20, and from April 13 to May 3: by booking from 3 days and 4 nights in the hotel and from 6 days and 7 nights in the apartment, up to a maximum of 13 days and 14 nights, you will be entitled to a free ski pass. On the occasion of the Easter festivities (12 April 2020), for guests arriving Saturday 11 April or Sunday 12 April, it will be possible to take advantage of the free Skipass promotion only if the stay has a minimum duration of 7 nights for the apartments and 6 nights for the hotels.
Other promotions will also be active during the winter season. From January 25th to February 1st and from March 28th to April 4th 2020 the protagonists in Livigno are the families: with Family Week Winter, the first child up to 12 years accompanied by two paying adults will get the complete free hotel (or discount 15% on the apartment), as well as a series of other discounts and free offers, also at Aquagranda ActiveYou. Other children belonging to the family, born from 2007 onwards, will get a 50% discount on the rate reserved for them.
But the absolute novelty of the 2019/2020 season is the -50% Junior fare. Valid throughout the season, this special rate is reserved for all children and young people born since 2004: for them, each ticket can be purchased at half the price list reserved for adults.
During the winter Livigno will host various events including the Sgambeda, a 30 km long marathon, which will take place from November 29th to December 1st. From 11 to 16 January the World Rookie Fest will take place, a challenge between snowboarders under 18 at the Mottolino snowpark, while on 21 March there will be the Italian Snowmobile Championship.
