Maniva

The official website lists 40 km of slopes, spread across the Passo Maniva and Dasdana sectors. The ski area extends approximately from 1,450 metres in the access areas to 2,088 metres at Dasdana, offering a significant vertical drop and a good variety of environments: woodland in the lower section, and broad, open, panoramic slopes at higher elevations.

The offering includes slopes suitable for all levels, with a predominance of blue and red runs and one black run. Beginners can use the training areas and gradually progress on the easier slopes, while intermediate skiers will find the broadest and most enjoyable selection. The red Persek 1 and Persek 2 runs have consistent gradients and allow skiers to maintain a good rhythm; Zocchi, classified as a black run, is instead the most technical slope in the ski area, with steeper sections through the woods.

The Dasdana sector is the most panoramic part of the ski area. Dasdana Centrale offers a descent of intermediate difficulty, while Panoramica allows visitors to enjoy the scenery on a more accessible route. A network of slopes and connecting runs links Dasdana with Passo Maniva and with the trails served by the Persek, Barard and Zocchi chairlifts.

The lift system comprises four chairlifts, three conveyor belts for beginners and an additional conveyor for the bobsleigh and sledding slope. Persek is a four-seater chairlift, while Barard and Zocchi are two-seater lifts; Persole-Dasdana provides access to the highest elevation. The system is functional and well distributed, although some of the chairlifts are from an older generation and do not offer the speed of the most modern detachable lifts.

Maniva Ski is particularly suitable for families and intermediate skiers, but also offers interesting options for more experienced sports enthusiasts. The size of the area is sufficient for several days of skiing, with the opportunity to vary the slopes and aspects, while the presence of ski schools, rental shops, refreshment points and accommodation close to the slopes makes planning the day easy. Artificial snowmaking covers much of the ski area and, together with the elevations around Dasdana, helps ensure good season-long coverage.

Children have dedicated areas, a bobsleigh and sledding slope with an uphill lift and several training areas at their disposal. Winter mountain enthusiasts can also follow snowshoeing or ski touring routes, gradually moving away from the lift-served area.

In summer, Maniva becomes a destination for trekking, mountain biking and e-biking. Trails, old mule tracks and high-altitude routes lead from the pass towards Dasdana, the alpine lakes and the surrounding mountains. The offering also includes climbing, sport fishing and activities for families, while the panoramic roads of Maniva and Crocedomini are very popular with cyclists and motorcyclists.
