Prato nevoso, the Piedmontese town in the province of Cuneo, aims to reach the 150-day opening record of all the station's facilities, that is to say 5 months of activity. This year, in fact, the season had started early, on November 18th, thanks to the favorable snow conditions. With over three meters of snow, therefore, the season will continue beyond the final which was scheduled for April 8th.

"The Alps of Prato Nevoso aim to guarantee skiers a unique season finale, with lots of snow and winter conditions, as well as a program of new events scheduled" is announced by Prato Nevoso Spa.
A season so long had never been seen. In addition, Federalberghi has issued a note that indicates Piedmont as the second favorite destination, after Trentino Alto Adige, for Italian tourists. "This news - explains Gianluca Oliva, director of Prato Nevoso - confirms the tourist indicators that, in December, had elected Prato Nevoso as second only in Cortina among the most requested Italian mountain stations in Italy for Christmas. The boom in attendance not only confirms how much investment and work done in recent years to strengthen and enhance our snow system is producing the desired results. But it comforts us in the effort of wanting to guarantee our tourists the most complete offer possible: in this direction, therefore, the commitment to want to prolong the ski season in the Cuneo area ".

Argentera si trova nell’alta Valle Stura, a pochi chilometri dal Colle della Maddalena e dal confine francese, in uno degli ambienti più appartati e selvaggi delle Alpi Marittime. Il comprensorio si sviluppa sopra la frazione di Bersezio, tra circa 1.630 e 2.500 metri di quota, in un paesaggio di lariceti e pendii d’alta montagna dominato dall’Oserot e dalla Rocca dei Tre Vescovi.
