On 31 January, the former American champion of the Alpine Ski World Cup, Bode Miller, one of the best known faces of the white circus, inaugurated with the ribbon cutting the new 10-seater gondola Dosson-Selletta of the Paganella ski area .
The gondola lift serves the new 2 km long red run of the same name, with an average gradient of 26% and a maximum of 43% for a vertical drop of 500 meters. To better connect the new slope to the existing network, a 400-meter-long connecting track was also created, which connects the Malga Zambana refuge to the new Jana Granda slope, and a 200-meter-long skiweg which instead allows you to directly reach the new slope. to those who are at the start of the Albi de Mez-Cima Paganella lift.
The lift replaces the old Malga Zambana-La Selletta two-seater chairlift. The intervention is carried out by Paganella 2001 S.p.A., the company that manages 8 of the 14 ski lifts in the Paganella ski area.
Bode Miller was in Paganella for Bomber Experience, the event in which he can challenge his time in a giant race on the black Olimpionica 2 track.
The American is now at home here. Bode Miller, in fact, in the past attended the ski area for training in view of the World Cup races and in recent years he attended the ski resort for the event of his Bomber skis.
