The chair of Torcola Vaga in Piazzatorre stay at home. The City Council approved the proposed purchase by the municipality to the ski slopes, the refuge of land Gremei and accessories. The ski Torcola Vaga, however, are owned by the company "High Altitude" that five years ago there was a proposal with a plan to relaunch the entire ski resort. "High Altitude", after a few seasons in red, he decided also to sell.
To avoid yet another season stop or, even worse, to avoid a final farewell to the installations, the City Council had recently presented a paper which emphasized the desire to purchase the chairlifts of Torcola Vaga. 'L' idea of ​​the majority is to buy the chair and shelter - the mayor Michele Arioli - so there should be no surprises. The discussion and the decision will not be easy. But by now you should think in terms of needs and opportunities, because the only alternative is to send the purchase auction plants. "
E 'was an important step towards the opening of the station for the next winter, although the process to finish the job is not yet closed. The total cost of the operation is over a million Euro. Seven hundred thousand Euros will be used for the two chair lifts Torcola Vaga and the annexed areas, while about 300 thousand are intended to shelter Gremei. Expected also the purchase of a snowmobile. To be ready in December with the reopening of the district refilling will still need to reach an agreement with the owners of the start of the plants and, of course, find a manager.
