For the next winter season in San Martino di Castrozza there will be the new four-seater "Cima Tognola" fixed-coupling chairlift which will replace an old Graffer lift.

The new lift, which will be built by Leitner, will lead to the highest point of the Skiarea Carosello delle Malghe in the San Martino di Castrozza - Passo Rolle area and allows the passage from the Tognola area to the Ces area in about 7 minutes total (via the Cigolera chairlift + new chairlift Cima Tognola) against the previous 20.

From the top station of the chairlift begins the "Fantasia 2000" track, which connects several existing slopes allowing you to cover almost 5 km of descent and 950 meters of altitude. With the skis pointing to the town of San Martino, a quick S-route leads to the Cima Tognola slope, wide and fast, and then the Cigolera slope, steeper and more rhythmic. Arriving at the valley station of the Rododendro chairlift, at an altitude of 1900 m, you enter the Tognola 3 slope, entirely in the woods. Here the track narrows a bit and becomes more technical and varied, with continuous changes in slope and curves. The famous "wall of the 3" gives the skier the right energy to launch into the middle part of the slope. Lower down the slope decreases, offering the ideal pace for large and fast curves, up to the valley station of the Tognola cable car.
