After the disappointment of the third PGS of the season, which took place last Saturday in Scuol, even today in Bad Gastein the blue squadron of parallel snowboard has experienced a decidedly complicated qualifying phase.
In particular, it hurts the elimination of Roland Fischnaller, second in the general classification just a stone's throw from Benjamin Karl and, with the 26th time trial signed in the morning, out of the game for the decisive phase of the fourth round of the World Cup, or the PSL scheduled on the Austrian snow (and tomorrow there will be the first team competition of this year) which will restart from the round of 16 at 6.40 pm, with live TV on Eurosport 2 and Rai Sport (at the end of the 1st round of the slalom feminine of Flachau).
There are still three Azzurri in the race for the podium: Mirko Felicetti, sixth time in qualifying, will see it in the second round with the veteran Andreas Prommegger, Daniele Bagozza (12th time) with the other Austrian Mathies and Aaron March, 15th in the morning, with Karlagachev who placed the second absolute time, in a total domination of the Russian team with Sobolev in front of his teammate and other compatriots Sarsembaev and Sluev (winner last Saturday in Scuol).
In addition to Fischnaller, Maurizio Bormolini, 20th, Edwin Coratti (31st) and, in the women's race, the only Italian representative, Nadya Ochner, who signed only the 22nd time trial, were also eliminated in Italy.
