It's great Italy in the qualifications of the Cervinia women's snowboard cross, the first stage of the World Cup of specialties: two blue ones were placed in the first three and three in the first five.

Let's start with the men's qualifications, in which the German Martin Noerl was imposed in front of the American Hagen Kearney and the other German Konstantin Schad. The final stages are 48 athletes, so the batteries will have on track 6 athletes each, and the Blues who managed to qualify after the first run were four: ninth Emanuel Perathoner, twelfth Omar Visintin, fifteenth Lorenzo Sommariva, eighteenth Michele Godino. After the second run three other drivers were qualified: twenty-sixth Fabio Cordi, thirty-second the very young Filippo Ferrari, forty-sixth Matteo Menconi. Eliminated the other Azzurri: fifty-fourth Tommaso Leoni, seventy-fifth Thomas Belingheri, seventy-ninth Stefano Bendotti, eighty Lorenzo Catapano.
As we said, great blue in women's qualifications. Michela Moioli, Olympic champion and holder of the specialty Cup but who suffered a meniscus injury two and a half months ago, has in fact placed second only behind the French Nelly Moenne-Loccoz, Raffaella Brutto was third and a fantastic Sofia Belingheri fifth behind the Czech Eva Samkova. Here the scoreboard of the final stages is only 24 athletes even if the batteries will always be 6, then after the first run has also qualified Francesca Gallina, twelfth.
