First stage of the snowboardcross World Cup: Friday the final stages with six men in the running.

The World Cup season has started well for the Italian snowboard cross specialists.
Today's qualifiers for the Montafon stage, which includes the final stages on Friday (starting at 1:00 pm), brought forward all the Italian national team's bishops, except for Filippo Ferrari.
Among women, good debut for the Olympic champion Michela Moioli, sixth time on a par with Lindsey Jacobellis and behind team-mate Raffaella Brutto, fourth and in pursuit of the main favorite, albeit on a shortened track like the one proposed in Austria, namely the Czech Eva Samkova who placed herself in front of all. In the 16 also Sofia Belingheri, who will then be the third tip of the Italian team.
Among the men, there are six blues with the pass in their pockets: Emanuel Perathoner concluded with the 5th time, six tenths from the best of the German Paul Berg, in the ten also Tommaso Leoni and Omar Visintin, with Lorenzo Sommariva 12th and, after the second run, the entry into the 32 in contention tomorrow also for Matteo Menconi and Michele Godino.
