The first two seasonal races, men's and women's, of the snowboard cross World Cup were staged in Cervinia and a podium immediately arrived for Italy.

In the final the 29 year old from South Tyrol Lagundo fails to repeat the triumph of last year on the track of Plan Maison but still ranking second and will have another chance tomorrow. Triumph of the German Martin Noerl, the first success and the first podium in the World Cup, Omar is in the 12th podium in the Cup, third and fourth the Austrians Hanno Douschan and Lukas Pachner, fifth the other German Leon Beckhaus and sixth the American Senna Leith.
