It & egrave; finally clarified the situation regarding the 'Ibu Junior Cup, namely the unborn junior circuit so trumpeted by the international federation. Actually & agrave; c '' & egrave; little new, and it's a mere operation of make-up of a reality & agrave; gi & agrave; existing.

The 'Ibu, in its congress of 2014, announced with great fanfare the creation of a circuit open to participants in agrave & et; youth called "Ibu Junior Cup", omitting to & ograve; to be back on his feet than at one of the many ominous decisions made in Congress in 2008 (most of which were then deleted in the years to come).
In fact, a series of tests youth already existed & agrave; from beginning of the 2000s, attached to the cadet level at the time called the European Cup. In 2008 with the change of name in Ibu Cup he had also opted to abolish the competitions open to junior and to the youth.
Last year instead & egrave; decided to resurrect (not to create, as they state on the official statements) the junior circuit, but does not explain the features that have come to light of the sun in recent weeks.
De facto 'Ibu does not add anything new but simply affix their own brand on the gi & agrave; existing Alpen Cup, a group of races so far detached from the international federation and became recently a place of confrontation for the youth of nations dell''arco Alpine (and not only).
So the 'Ibu Junior Cup sovrapporr & agrave; all''Alpen Cup, which for & ograve; formally continuer & agrave; to exist as two separate classifications will be drawn up: one for the athletes enrolled in the official circuit (Ibu Junior Cup) and a (Alpen Cup) for those who exceed the quota of each nation.
In short, a lot of smoke and little roast. The 'unique novelty & agrave; interesting & egrave; represented by not dispute Europeans junior in conjunction with senior ones, but to create an event apart, coinciding with the final leg of the "new" system, whose calendar & egrave; the following:
1st STAGE - OBERTILLIACH (AUT) 12/12 - Male Sprint and Femminile13 / 12 - Sprint Men and Women
2nd STAGE - Arbersee (GER) 18/12 - Individual Male and Femminile19 / 12 - Sprint Men and Women
3rd STAGE - Lenzerheide (SUI) 09/01 - Individual Male and Femminile10 / 01 - Sprint Men and Women
EUROPEAN JUNIOR - POKLJUKA (SLO) 17/03 - Individual Male and Femminile19 / 03 - Male Sprint and Femminile20 / 03 - Pursuits Male and Female
