Absent Ukraine, Russia and Belarus due to the conflict mentioned in the pre-race and the Ukrainian flags that appear combined with those of Finland, the host country, Biathlon tries to find its normalcy by opening the Kontiolahti World Cup stage with the women's relay in which Italy participates by changing the order of factors compared to the usual formation: Comola at launch, Wierer and Sanfilippo in the internal fractions and Vittozzi to close while the news of Michela Carrara's victory in the IBU Sprint arrives from Lenzerheide Cup.

The German Voigt (0 + 3) is at 43 seconds while Samuela Comola (0 + 2) passes the baton to Dorothea Wierer in thirteenth position just under a minute from Norway.
Tiril Eckhoff (0 + 1) makes the void exploiting above all a standing polygon that penalizes Hauser (1 + 3) and slows down the others while a good Wierer (0 + 1) makes Italy go back to the podium area. At the mid-race changeover, the front-wheel drive Norway shows up at the mid-race change with one minute ahead of Magnusson's Sweden ((0 + 0). Haecki (0 + 4), Hauser (1 + 3) and Wierer are one minute and 13 seconds Anais Chevalier (2 + 4) sinks France to 1.49.3 while worse goes to Hinz (2 + 3) who runs two and a half minutes.
In the session on the ground Lien and Sanfilippo make no mistake while Hanna Oberg has to use three reloads and the blue finds herself with the Swede and Aita Gasparin 5/5) one minute from the top. Ida Lien (0 + 1) manages to manage the situation by limiting the return of Hanna Oeberg (0 + 3) while Gasparin (0 + 2) and Sanfilippo (0 + 2) continue to duel for a podium position.
Last change with Norway chw is 29 seconds ahead of Sweden, 1.06.9 over Italy and 1.16.9 over Switzerland. The Czech Republic (0 + 8) is at 1.36.0, Braisaz (0 + 6) and Preuss (0 + 2) are two minutes from the top, one minute from Italy.
At the first shooting range Tandrevold is not mistaken on his return after the dramatic collapse of Beijing while Elvira Oeberg uses two reloads and only one for Vittozzi who maintains the advantage over the pursuers where Charvatova who turns once like Simon jumped. The Norwegian (0 + 0) puts on ice the victory for Norway and Elvira Oeberg 0 + 3) and an excellent Lisa Vittozzi (0 + 2) also crystallize the podium.
Norway (0 + 4) prevails on the finish line with 37.7 seconds ahead of Sweden (0 + 8) and 1.00.2 over Italy (0 + 7). Fourth position at 1.57.1 for Germany (2 + 9), fifth for Switzerland (1 + 12) at 2.37.1 and sixth for Austria (2 + 11) at 2.55.8.
