The last period of the World Cup opens. Tomorrow the women's relay will kick off the Finnish stage, the first part of the Nordic triptych in March, which will also see the great biathlon on stage in Otepää and in the Oslo-Holmenkollen temple. As is known, Ukraine, Russia and Belarus will be absent.

Italy presents itself at the start of the Kontiolahti women's relay in experimental formation and everything revolves around the name of Lisa Vittozzi, who will be involved in the closing of the race and not at the launch, where Samuela Comola will be instead. In the middle Wierer and Sanfilippo to hunt for a top 5 which, in light of the absences, seems widely within reach.
The long-desired change, often invoked by many, has finally arrived. Perhaps belatedly, because the experiments could have been done before the Olympic Games, which is the focal point of the entire four-year period. Three nations start with the underdogs: France with Bescond, Anais Chevalier, Braisaz and Simon; Sweden at the start with Persson, Magnusson and sisters Hanna and Elvira Oeberg; Norway that puts Roeiseland in first and to follow Eckhoff, Lien and the returning Tandrevold.
