Perfect for shooting. Dorothea Wierer conquers her fourth podium of the season in individual practice in the race that brings Tiril Eckhoff the first victory of the year.

Four biathletes in 7 seconds, eighteen in one minute: the conditions for a spectacular chase to close the Kontiolahti stage were outlined by yesterday's Sprint, the rest are done by the protagonists.
At the first shooting range Tiril Eckhoff is not mistaken, who goes away alone, after more than 20 seconds are Herrmann and Stina Nilsson, after a mistake, to follow her with Voigt and Persson. At 40 seconds there are Knotten, Elvira Oeberg and Chevalier. It is a double round of penalty for Hanna Oeberg who finds herself again with Roeiseland (4/5) at 50 seconds, Wierer makes no mistake, eleventh at 54 seconds.
Eckhoff also tames the second polygon and maintains a 21 second advantage over Herrmann, 38 over Chevalier and 43 over Voigt. Stina Nilsson, after an 8/10 on the ground, is fifth at 50 seconds with Julia Simon and Dorothea Wierer, so far perfect. Roeiseland, with two errors, is at 1.05.7.
Another perfect polygon, the first standing, for Tiril Eckhoff who increases his advantage. Herrmann misses once and finds himself at 44 seconds with Chevalier, still perfect Wierer and Voigt, fourth and fifth at 54 seconds. Amcora a mistake for Roeiseland slipping past the minute and a half.
Tiril Eckhoff shows up at the last shooting range with two errors of advantage over the most immediate pursuers and spoils them by missing the first and the last target but also Herrmann misses once and Chevalier twice. Dorothea Wierer is not wrong, exiting the session in second position at 14 seconds with an 8 advantage over Hermann.
Dorothea defends herself with her teeth from Herrmann's return and goes to conquer second place by returning to the podium in a Pursuit after three years. On the finish line Tiril Eckhoff (0-0-0-2) maintains a 15.9 second lead over Wierer (0-0-0-0) and 19.5 over Herrmann (1-0-1-1). Fourth place for Marte Roeiseland (1-1-1-0) at 35.8 in front of compatriot Knotten (0-1-0-0) fifth at 43.5 while Chevalier (1-0-0-2) is sixth at 54.3.
