The start at 12:45, then at 14:40 it will be the men's pursuit, the final race of the Finnish stage of the World Cup. In front of all but with a reduced margin the German will start while the blue will try the comeback from a distance, but for Italy there will also be Comola and Sanfilippo.

Sprint winner Denise Herrmann will have to defend a minimum advantage, of only 5 ", over Tirill Eckhoff and Stina Nilsson, with Hanna Oeberg starting immediately after with a gap of 7". It promises to be a very hard-fought and open race, especially in the first part. Nine athletes will start with less than 30 "from the head: Anais Chevalier, Vogt and Elvira Oeberg will have less than 20" from the leader, while Roeiseland and Eder will have little more than a late error.
The first of the blues to take the start will be Dorothea Wierer, 17th at 52 ”, a small gap even if there are many athletes in the way between herself and the podium. Samuela Comola 45a at 2'06 "and Federica Sanfilippo 58a at 2'39" will instead aim for the points.

Five World Cup Pursuits were staged this season and four of them were won by Mars Roeiseland, who also took Olympic gold in Beijing. The only one able to undermine the Norwegian's dominance has so far been Elvira Oeberg, winner of Le Grand Bornand. However, the challenge for victory could be played entirely at home in Norway, as Tiril Eckhoff is in an attacking position. A victory would also be significant because it would allow her to go up in double figures in the format.
