Johannes Boe can dedicate his only individual gold medal from the World Championships in Antholz to the newborn Gustav.

The first jolts in the last race of the Anterselva World Championships are recorded at the first shooting range: only Desthieux among the French is not wrong as it is for the Norwegians Tarjei and Johannes Boe and Dale and the German Doll. Not even wrong Windisch who goes from thirtieth position to the tenth while an error pushes Lukas Hofer to thirty seconds from the top. The Norwegians set the pace on the second lap and with them Doll and Eberhard leave while Windisch transforms himself into the first of the pursuers in a matter of seconds with Ponsiluoma, Fak, Moravec and the four French musketeers. The polygon speaks Norwegian and the three have 8 seconds on Desthieux, Fillon Maillet and Jacquelin. An error for Windisch who comes out fourteenth in just over 30 seconds while Hofer with another penalty turn is around the twentieth position around the minute. The glittering Fillon Maillet on the skis of these World Championships returns to the Norwegian trio while Kuehn, Christiansen and Doll reach Jacquelin and Desthieux chasing in about twenty seconds. A third group with Fourcade and Windisch is at 35 seconds. Johannes Boe made no mistake and came out with 17 seconds on Fillon Maillet, just behind Desthieux and Tarjei Boe. With a 5/5 Fourcade returns to the race, 33 seconds behind Jacquelin. There are two errors by Windisch who finds himself at 1.18.5 with Lukas Hofer. Johannes Boe unleashes himself on the fourth lap and is at the last shooting range with 26 seconds ahead of Fillon Maillet 41 over his brother and 50 over Christiansen, Fourcade and Desthieux. With the 20/20 Johannes Boe flies towards his first individual Gold of these World Championships. Behind everyone is wrong except Jacquelin who finds himself third at 55 seconds preceded by a dozen seconds by Fillon Maillet and with 7 ahead of Tarjei Boe. The rest of the group is beyond the minute. Third Gold after the two Mixed Relays for Johannes Boe who on the finish line, after greetings and final show, precedes by 42 seconds Quentin Fillon Maillet while the stadium is once again a land of conquest for Emilien Jacquelin who, at 55 seconds, wins the sprint for the Bronze Age on Tarjei Boe.
