Johannes Thingnes Boe (1 + 1 + 1 + 0) scores 15.1 seconds ahead of the Frenchman Emilien Jacquelin (0 + 0 + 0 + 0) who surrenders only in the last part of the fifth lap and 25.0 on the German Arnd Peiffer (0 + 0 + 0 + 1). Martin Fourcade (0 + 0 + 1 + 2) struggles to limit the damage and is only fourteenth. At home Italy comes a great performance for three quarters of the race by Dominik Windisch (0 + 0 + 0 + 2) who appears at the head of the last polygon but fails twice for a ninth place at 52.3 from Boe.
