After the fifth place of Kontiolahti and the eighth of Hochfilzen, Italy tries to change the formation of the relay in view of the world championship in Pokljuka. The novelty is the inclusion of Tommaso Giacomel (again in the points in the second Sprint of Oberhof), who takes the place of Didier Bionaz. The twenty-year-old under the Fiamme Gialle will be engaged in the third fraction, before handing over to Dominik Windisch. Just as in the first two outings of the season Hofer will be in the second half while Thomas Bormolini will be at the launch.
