Said of the blue objectives, there are two themes that make this Sprint very interesting. Five days after the seasonal debut, it will be necessary to understand if the condition gap between the Scandinavian nations and the rest of the world has narrowed or if instead we will see a new Nordic domination. In fact, in the two opening races only the German Lesser managed to make his way on the podium between Norwegians and Swedes.
On the other hand, France, which is the “disappointed” of the first stage, did not collect placings in the top 3. Fillon Maillet and Jacquelin collected excellent positions in the top ten but both missed the acute. For a team accustomed to winning and dominating the redemption is a must, also not to lose too much ground in the general classification by Johannes "Giovannino" Bø.
