As per regulation, 30 athletes will be at the start, the first 25 of the general classification of the World Cup plus the best 5 of the current stage.
There are two blue present: Dorothea Wierer, currently 5th in the Overall, and Lisa Vittozzi, who occupies 25th place, conquered thanks to a good performance in the Sprint. Doro will try to confirm himself on the podium after the third place obtained in the Mass Start of Hochfilzen and the second place conquered in the Sprint (bis) of Oberhof.

Marte Roesiland will have to defend the yellow bib as the leader of the general from the attack attempt by compatriot Tirill Eckhoff who, after having obtained the sixth seasonal success in the second Sprint at Oberhof, is now in the fast lane.
