The Germany of the bob is confirmed as the national team to beat in this first part of the World Cup season. The Teutonic athletes have been able to win all twelve races held so far between the men's and women's sectors. In the men's race on Saturday Francesco Friedrich triumphed clearly, trimming 68 cents to the 2nd classified, the Latvian Oskars Kibermanis, also quite fit in this first part of the season, 3rd place for another German athlete, Johannes Lochner, the only athlete who this season was able to beat Friedrich, winning one of the two races held in Igls last week. Back the blues: Mattia Variola closes 14th, while Patrick Baumgartner ends the test in 18th place. Stephanie Schneider, on the other hand, won the women's race, beating the most popular compatriot Laura Nolte by just 18 cents, third place for Kim Kalicki, who allowed Germany to monopolize the podium.
