During the 84th edition of the World Congress, representatives of the International Federation of Bobsleigh and Skeleton (FIBT) voted the new composition of the federal executive body that will drive the two sports for the next four years.

'' The Italian Ivo Ferriani outgoing president, is was re-elected at the head of the federation, and was rewarded for long mediation work with major sponsors (Viessmann ed) that allowed the bob and skeleton to have a greater economic return.
In his first term Ferriani and his collaborators have succeeded among other things, to forge a partnership with Infront for the management of television rights of both disciplines, and especially were among the initiators of the project monobob, the new discipline of bob that will debut Youth Olympic Games in Lillehammer 2016.
The new executive body of the FIBT will consisting of:
