The IBSF has drawn up the official calendars of the two disciplines in view of the next season: we start from North America, where three stages will be staged. We will return to Europe only in January 2023, the season will close in Sigulda on February 19, 2023; the world championships in St. Moritz are scheduled from 23 January to 5 February.

The international bobsleigh and skeleton federation has unveiled the World Cup calendars for the 2022/2023 season. Several news compared to last season, which had inevitably been affected by the pandemic. Officially, the season will start on November 22, 2022 in Whistler, Canada, with North America returning to the fore after two years of forced absence. The following week we will go to Park City, in the United States; to close the trio of North American stages, after a week's break, will be the Lake Placid circuit, also in the States. Still excluding Calgary, which will not host any World Cup events next season, as the track is currently closed. The first European stage will be held, instead, in Altenberg, Germany, starting from 9 January 2023; the following week the German gut will host another stage, for a double appointment that will reluctantly compensate for another season of absence for the Koenigssee gut, due to the damage caused by the flood that affected much of the Northern Europe in July 2021. After the two stages in Altenberg it will be the turn of the World Championships in St. Moritz, which return to the Engadine ten years after the first world title won by the bob legend Francesco Friedrich. At the end of the world championship, the World Cup will peep out in Innsbruck in Austria, before the final act on Latvian soil, in Sigulda, from 13 to 19 February 2023.
