Rezzadore ex-pilot and ex-technical director of the Italian national bobsleigh team underlined the great satisfaction with which the Bob Club Cortina he presided over, welcomed the Lausanne verdict which guaranteed Milan-Cortina the organization of the Winter Olympic Games of 2026, "For us it is a huge satisfaction. For over 10 years we have fought for the reopening of the Monti slope and now our dream has come true. In recent years the Bob Club has focused mainly on the less expensive Paralympic bob "traditional", but now with the new system there is new enthusiasm and we will certainly return to focus on the recruitment of new athletes to bring in the national teams. "
The new runway according to Rezzadore should not only be from the Ampezzo area but should be a heritage of the whole of Italy, "We will finally have an Italian track and this facility will have to approach athletes from all over the country towards the bob but also towards the skeleton and the sled. In addition to these competitive activities we will have to follow the example of other nations where the bob can also be a tourist attraction and why not also a means of advertising promotion. "
