Beating comeback 4-3 Sweden, Switzerland won the bronze medal in the women's hockey tournament in Sochi.

The game did not start well for the Swiss, which after fourteen minutes exactly suffer the goals of Michelle Löwenhielm that the lead Sweden. The first period ended with the Scandinavian advantage for one to zero.
In the second period Sweden seems to close the game thanks to a goal by Erica Uden Johansson in the ninth minute of the game. Last resting it goes well on the score of two to zero, with Sweden apparently in control and launched to the bronze medal.
After just over a minute of the third period, however, Sara Benz opens the game, and after six minutes, taking advantage of the powerplay, Switzerland equalized thanks to Phoebe Stanz. Sweden all the evidence, raising the goalkeeper in an attempt to catch the draw, and just taking advantage of the situation Alina Muller closing the accounts to a minute from time. Needless goal of Pernilla Winberg to a handful of seconds from the siren, Switzerland wins by four to three and won a well deserved bronze medal.
The final for the gold between Canada and the United States will be staged this evening from 18:00 Italian.
