Dates back to 50 years ago, most & ugrave; precisely to 1968, the history of the Ski Club of Rome Eur, the first club of central and southern Italy for competitive results in races and events of the highest level, especially in puppies and baby categories that in the last two years have stood out particularly.

One Ski Club made up of federal trainers of the first order that have allowed some athletes to achieve important goals. & Egrave; the case of the slalom skier Giordano Ronci, athlete of the National Alpine Ski, landed there in both the European Cup in & nbsp; the World Cup.
Alessandro Giuffr & egrave ;, councilor and member of the Ski Club Eur, as well as & eacute; manager of the company & agrave; together with the & rsquo; coach Gabriel Federici, tells us about the activities & agrave ;, training, l & rsquo; commitment and the will & agrave; with which his boys to devote to skiing.
What kind of activities & agrave; It plays the Ski Club?
The Ski Club Eur performs activities & agrave; Alpine Skiing gi & agrave; starts, and then at a competitive level skiing. We do not do pre-competitive and above all we do not ski school. For us skiing & egrave; a & rsquo; activity & agrave; sport itself. We begin to pick up the kids from & rsquo; et & agrave; 4 years beginning the first approach to skiing by playing in the snow. Right now we try to send them a mentality & agrave; challenge.
What are the resort & agrave; who attended for training?
D & rsquo; in the winter we ski resorts & agrave; dell & rsquo; Abruzzo, especially in Ovindoli and Campo Felice. We move weekends, from Friday & igrave; to Sunday, and we also organize one or two infra-weekly releases. D & rsquo; summer you go skiing on the glaciers: Italy, France and Austria. We carry out a program of 45 training days, from June to November, surrounded by an athletic program directed by our coaches. & Nbsp;
How can the boys to reconcile school with activities & agrave; Ski Club?
We organize pi & ugrave; outputs in the middle of the week just to give the kids l & rsquo; opportunity & agrave; to choose which days to participate according to school commitments. The coaches in this way the possibility & agrave; to work with small groups focusing on quality & agrave; and on finishing the job begun l & rsquo; summer and carried on the weekends.
Ski Club Eur includes some athletes who are among the pi & ugrave; strong d & rsquo; Italy and the first in the category puppies. What & egrave; your strength compared to skiing Northern Club?
Our strength & egrave; the great work done during training. & Nbsp; we have created a highly motivated team and dedicated to the great work, both dry during athletics sessions, both on the track, we can cover the gap that separates us from the great North Club with the & rsquo; commitment of our young people who face all workouts giving 120%. All this takes place along with a focused technical program, carefully followed by our technicians. The tracks we have available are not the same ones that are in the North, but this shows the great ability & agrave; boys in central Italy that have nothing to envy of their colleagues.
Jordanian Ronci & egrave; Today one of the athletes of the alpine ski team. How did you bring out & nbsp; talent of this magnitude?
Giordano & egrave; one of the boys & egrave; He grew up with us and with many sacrifices & egrave; arrived where & egrave; today. The Ski Club Eur is committed to supporting their athletes, to the extent possible, in both economic and moral. & Egrave; then also important to the will & agrave; and the ability & agrave; the boy himself. Giordano has skied in Abruzzo when he was little, then when & egrave; I grew it & egrave; moved in Northern Italy with the pap & agrave; to pursue his career as an athlete.
There are other guys in the Ski Club Eur which today seem to be a promise of alpine skiing?
Ilaria Di Sabatino & egrave; one of the pi & ugrave girls; strong that we have won many titles and salt almost always on the podium in the most & ugrave races; important including Pinocchio on skis. Besides you there are other guys with great potential. The Ski Club Eur athletes are a very united group, something very important to us, and are not competitive with each other.
What are the goals it sets your Ski Club?
For us & egrave; important that kids have fun and we decided to enroll at the Ski Club alive this discipline as a real sports instead & eacute; as a & rsquo; activity & agrave; as a tourist.
