As already established on 7 August, the FISI approved participation in national and international events.

In full compliance with national regulations on combating the Covid-19 epidemic, the Italian Winter Sports Federation, with resolution no. 177 of 7 August last, established a ban on athletes from taking part in national and international competitions until today, 15 October.
Always with the utmost respect for the law, and in the light of the Prime Ministerial Decree of 13 October and the provisions contained therein, with an urgent resolution (n.186) of President Flavio Roda, athletes are now authorized to take part in competitions national and international starting from today, October 15, remembering that the provisions included in the DPCM of October 13 remain in force until November 13. And so, from the Soelden opening for alpine skiing to the Alpen Cup races that will see the standard-bearers of the Nordic combined national team still in the weekend of 17-18 October, the Azzurri are finally back in the race.
