Evelyn Insam says enough about competition at just 25 years old.
The Italian female leap loses an athlete who, especially in the last two seasons, has experienced a very difficult period in terms of results, but who had previously glimpsed good things, getting two podiums in the World Cup and that 5th place in Sochi, in the historic debut of a pink competition at the Olympic Games.
The Bressanone jumper also participated in the five-circle event at PyeongChang, after having won silver at the junior world championships in Liberec 2013.
"It is time to say goodbye - he announced via social media channels - Sixteen years ago I jumped for the first time, now I look over my shoulder and I can say I had a good career. I am very proud of the moments that I have been able to experience and the experiences that I have had the opportunity to do. In Val Pusteria sono andate in scena due giornate della versione estiva dello sci di fondo, con Marco Pinzani e Federica Cassol che hanno tronfato nella sprint del sabato sull'asfalto di Anterselva. A Dobbiaco, invece, le 10 km in alternato hanno regalato il successo a Davide Graz e Maria Gismondi, all'interno della cornice della Nordic Arena per quella che è stata la prima tappa della Coppa Italia invernale.
