After the cancellation of the second FIS Giant scheduled for Easter on the Giovanni Alberto Agnelli Olympic slope in Sestriere, due to the imperfect snow conditions caused by the high temperatures, everything is in order today for the first FIS Slalom of the Ski Committee Trophy Olympic Clubs, scheduled on Easter Monday.
Matteo Franzoso (Fiamme Gialle), who knows the slopes of Colle well for being born ski in the Ski Club Sestriere, won the men's race with a total time of 1''29 "34, confirming the excellent form shown this season finale and setting the best time in both heats. The Abruzzo financier Gianlorenzo Di Paolo was 29 cents away, while the Lazio carabiniere Riccardo Allegrini was third at 75 cents.
In fourth place Alessandro Riccucci (Ski Team Cesana), in fifth Alessandro Salini (Bormio), in sixth the Genoese Marco Abbruzzese (Fiamme Oro) in front of the Austrians Luca Gstrein and Franz Guem (Ski Club Ehrwald), with Leonardo Clivio of the Golden Team Ceccarelli ninth and first of the Aspirants. Goffredo Mammarella from Abruzzo closed the top ten. Second and third of the Aspirants are Pietro Tranchina of Ski Team Cesana and Filippo Segala (Ski Club Chamolè), twenty-first and twenty-seventh overall.
The race was also valid for the title of Youth Regional Champion: first place Marco Abbruzzese, second Leonardo Clivio, third Davide Damanti of the Sansicario Cesana Ski Club, sixteenth at the finish. The carabiniera from Bergamo Alessia Guerinoni instead won the women's slalom with a total time of 1''30 ”33, 3 tenths off the Mantuan financier Francesca Fanti and 46 the first of the Aspirants, Martina Banchi of the Golden Team Ceccarelli. In fourth place Gaia Blangero of the Equipe Limone from Cuneo, in fifth overall and second among the Aspirants the Valsesian Maria Sole Antonini of the Varallo Ski Club, in sixth the Genoese Chiara Teroni of the Mondolé Ski Team, in seventh overall and in third between the Aspirants Ginevra Trevisan of the Golden Team Ceccarelli, in the eighth overall and in the fourth among the Aspiring Matilde Lorenzi of the Sci Club Sestriere, in the ninth overall and in the fifth among the Aspirants the Valsesian Emilia Mondinelli of the Sci Club Sansicario Cesana followed by a '' another very young girl, Margherita Cecere of the Lancia Ski Club. In the Regional Youth Championship, Martina Banchi, Gaia Blangero and Maria Sole Antonini finish in the first three places.
