Biography: Aline Danioth is a Swiss alpine skier from Andermatt who specializes in slalom and giant slalom. She first made a name for herself on the junior scene, winning the slalom title at the Lillehammer 2016 Youth Olympic Games, before becoming a regular on the World Cup tour. Danioth claimed a world championship gold medal in the team event in 2019 and competed at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, finishing inside the top ten in slalom. She is valued for her quick, reactive skiing in the gates, her fighting spirit and her ability to return to a high level after injury breaks. (aggiornamento: )
