Biography: Sandro Simonet, born on 5 July 1995 and raised with the Lenzerheide-Valbella club, is a Swiss alpine skier specializing in slalom and alpine combined. He made his World Cup debut in 2016 and claimed his first podium with third place in the Chamonix slalom in January 2021. Simonet has competed at two World Championships and won gold in the team event at Åre 2019 with the Swiss squad. He is regarded as a pure technician, able to handle the most demanding courses and add depth to the Swiss line-up in the slalom events. (aggiornamento: )
