Biography: Stefan Babinsky is an Austrian speed specialist born in 1996 in Bremen and raised in Styria, focusing on super G and downhill. After strong results on the Europa Cup circuit, he made his World Cup debut in 2019 and gradually secured a regular place among the best, finishing several seasons inside the top ten in the super G standings. Over his career he has recorded multiple top ten finishes in World Cup races on classic venues such as Bormio, Wengen, Kitzbuhel and Aspen, and has represented Austria at the World Championships in Courchevel Meribel 2023 and Saalbach 2025. As a junior he won silver in downhill at the 2016 Junior World Championships in Sochi, confirming his speed potential at an early age. His powerful skiing, precise line choice and ability to be competitive in both downhill and super G make him one of the leaders of Austria s new generation in the speed events. (aggiornamento: )
