Biography: Patrick Feurstein is an Austrian giant slalom specialist born in 1996 in the Vorarlberg region. Raised in the Mellau ski club, he made his World Cup debut at Saalbach and gradually established himself as one of the most competitive skiers on the more technical giant slalom courses, earning his first podium with a second place in Val d Isere in December 2024. Over the seasons he has alternated World Cup and Europa Cup starts, collecting strong results and cementing his role within the Austrian giant slalom group. Feurstein is known for very clean skiing, precise line choice and solid management of the steep sections. He is a cousin of Lukas Feurstein, another rising talent in Austrian skiing.
